Using this cell

Load enough liquid to cover the beam position used by your instrument, then insert the stopper gently. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample, and check for bubbles or droplets around the sample region before measurement.

The 700 µL figure is nominal capacity, not a minimum working fill. If your method runs at lower fills or depends on a very specific liquid height over the beam, verify beam coverage in your own holder before routine use.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and edges for chips, dust or handling marks.
Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method before first use.
Test-fit the cell in the holder and confirm that the beam passes through the filled sample region.
Insert the stopper gently and make sure it seats cleanly without forcing it.

Fit and optical alignment

This cell uses a Two-Way Light layout, so the intended measurement direction is through one opposing window pair rather than through multiple side directions. The body height is 45 mm and the base is 12.5 × 12.5 mm, which helps when reviewing holder clearance and bench-top fit.

Z Height is not established for this SKU, and the 45 mm body height does not establish the overall height with the stopper in place. If your instrument depends on a specific bottom-to-beam height or has limited top clearance around the stopper, check those points before ordering.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. For routine selection, that makes it best suited to room-temperature water-based samples and buffers. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this adhesive-bonded cell.

Detailed chemical limits for the full assembled cell are not established here, so if your method involves stronger chemicals, elevated temperature or longer contact time, please check suitability before use. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and clean the optical faces with a non-abrasive laboratory wipe.
