Using this cell

Fill the cell from the top and make sure the liquid covers the measurement region during use. The open chamber is convenient for pipetting, pouring, rinsing and checking for bubbles or residue on the optical path before you place the cuvette in the instrument.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and chamber on receipt, then rinse the cuvette with a suitable aqueous liquid for your method before first use. After the cell is seated in the holder, run a blank and confirm that the light path is fully covered by liquid with no visible bubbles or streaks.

Fit and optical alignment

The uncapped outer dimensions are 32 × 14 × 62 mm. Use these body dimensions for holder-clearance checks, especially where your sample compartment is tight around width, depth or height.

Z Height is not listed for this SKU. If your holder depends on a defined beam-center height, confirm that requirement separately instead of assuming fit from the 10 mm path length alone.

Solvents and cleaning

Standard 80 is the MQ construction used for routine room-temperature water-based samples and buffers. Avoid organic sample solvents and organic cleaning agents with this adhesive-bonded style. If your method uses organic solvents, review a more suitable Sintered or Molded construction instead.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
