Choose this option
Choose C104TE13 when your method uses a 10 mm path and benefits from four-sided optical access rather than a two-window transmission layout. The threaded top gives you a screw-top opening for covered sample handling, while the 12.5 × 12.5 mm body and 35 mm optical section help you check fit in holders designed around a full-size square cuvette.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for UV/Vis methods written around a 1 cm cell.
- Four-Way Light geometry for optical access on all four sides of the cuvette body.
- Screw-top opening for filling and handling in a covered cell format.
- 35 mm optical body with 55 mm uncapped height to separate holder fit at the body from vertical clearance at the neck.
Using this cell
Fill the cell so the liquid level fully covers the beam area used by your instrument, then fit your closure arrangement if your procedure requires the sample to be covered. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs when your method depends on consistent placement, and handle the cuvette by the non-optical surfaces where possible.
The stated 3.5 mL is the nominal cell capacity. It should not be treated as a minimum working volume, so low-fill methods should be checked against the actual liquid level at the instrument beam position.
First-use check
- Inspect all optical faces for dust, residue or handling marks.
- Rinse with a liquid suitable for your method and the assembled cell setup you plan to use.
- Place a blank in the same orientation planned for the sample.
- Check that the filled liquid level covers the beam position in your instrument.
Fit and optical alignment
The square base is 12.5 × 12.5 mm, with a 35 mm optical body. The uncapped height is 55 mm from the base to the top of the neck, which is useful when checking clearance above the holder separately from the optical section that sits in the beam area.
Z Height is not listed for this SKU, so instrument fit should not be assumed from the outside body dimensions alone. If your spectrometer or accessory depends on a fixed beam-center height, please confirm that requirement before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette is listed under Molded 83 fabrication. In practice, choose sample and cleaning conditions that suit the complete assembled cell used in your method.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials. Chemical limits for the selected assembly are not listed here, so if your application involves aggressive chemicals, concentration, temperature or long contact time, please check suitability before use.
Included with this option
Price is for 1 cuvette. A screw-cap closure type applies to this product design, but the included package contents are not listed here.
