C104TS3 is a JGS1 quartz screw-top cuvette for UV/Vis and fluorescence setups that use a 10 mm optical path and need optical access from four sides. It combines a 3.5 mL nominal capacity with a threaded top opening and supplied PTFE screw caps, so you can fill from above and keep the sample chamber covered during handling or measurement. Supplied as a pack of 2 cuvettes.

Choose C104TS3 when you need the four-side optical access of a Four-Way Light cuvette and want two matching cells in one order. This is useful for blank and sample preparation, duplicate routine work or keeping a second cell ready without changing format. The 10 mm path and full-size square body fit methods that are written around the standard rectangular cuvette style rather than micro-volume cells.

Using this cell

Fill each cuvette through the threaded top opening and make sure the liquid level covers the beam area used by your instrument. Remove visible bubbles from the optical path region and keep cell orientation consistent if your procedure depends on blank/sample comparison or repeated positioning.

The supplied screw caps allow the cells to be covered during handling or during a measurement sequence. They should not be treated as pressure-rated closures.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces before first use and remove dust or fingerprints with a suitable rinse and gentle wiping. Run a blank at your working wavelength and confirm that your normal fill level covers the beam in your instrument, since 3.5 mL is a nominal capacity rather than a minimum working fill.

Fit and optical alignment

Each cell has a 12.5 × 12.5 × 38 mm body, with an overall height of 54 mm uncapped and 58 mm with the cap fitted. These dimensions help you check holder fit and vertical clearance inside the sample compartment.

Z Height is not established for this SKU, so holders or instruments with a fixed beam-center requirement should be checked before ordering. Four-Way Light describes the optical access of the cell and does not by itself establish compatibility with every fluorescence instrument.

Solvents and cleaning

Molded 83 is generally chosen for quartz cuvette work that may involve organic-solvent methods or temperature-controlled use. Choose the sample and cleaning routine for the full assembly, including the cap, because specific chemical limits for this selected configuration are not established here.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials. Clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
