Using this cell

Fill the cell from the top and introduce enough sample to cover the illuminated region without trapping bubbles. With a narrow 1 mm sample region, careful pipetting and consistent loading practice are especially important. Keep the optical faces clean and free from droplets or residue before measurement.

Use the same seating direction for blank and sample measurements. The 100 µL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell and should not be treated as a minimum working volume.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces for chips, dust or handling marks.
Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method.
Place the cell in the holder and confirm stable seating.
Run a blank and check that the filled sample region fully covers the beam.

Fit and optical alignment

Check the holder, sample compartment and beam position before ordering. In this format, matching the beam footprint to the sample region matters, and no released customer-fit value for Z Height is available here. Instrument fit should therefore be checked from your actual holder geometry and beam location.
