Using this cell

Fill each cell so the liquid fully covers the instrument beam, and keep bubbles and residue out of the optical path. For blank and sample work, use the same orientation throughout the measurement sequence.

The 700 µL figure is the nominal capacity of each cell, not a minimum working volume. If your instrument uses a fixed beam height or your method operates at low fill levels, check beam coverage in your own holder before routine use.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes for chips, residue or transport contamination.
Run a blank in the intended holder orientation.
Confirm that the filled liquid level covers the beam without trapped bubbles.
Check that the closure works with your handling routine.

Fit and optical alignment

The stated 12.5 × 4.5 × 45 mm dimensions apply to the cell body only. They do not establish the installed height with the closure in place, so check holder clearance and any top-space limits in your setup.

Z Height is not established for this exact option. If your holder or instrument depends on a defined beam-center height, do not assume compatibility from the rectangular body size alone.

Solvents and cleaning

This ordinary option is restricted to neutral samples. If your sample, rinse or cleaning routine involves non-neutral chemicals, check the full assembly suitability before use.
