Using this cell

Fill the cuvette from the open top and keep the liquid level high enough to cover the optical path used in your instrument. After filling, check the transmission area for trapped bubbles, droplets or residue before measurement.

This larger open chamber is convenient for hand filling and rinsing, but it also means the cuvette should be handled upright during transfer and use. Hold the body by non-optical surfaces where possible, and keep the same orientation between blank and sample measurements.
