Using this cell

Fill the cell from the open top so the liquid fully covers the beam area used by your instrument. After filling, check for bubbles on the optical faces and keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements if your method depends on consistent positioning.

The stated 59 mL is the nominal chamber capacity, not a minimum working volume. If you intend to work below the nominal fill level, check that the liquid still covers the beam during measurement.

First-use check

Before first measurement, inspect the optical faces for transit marks or residue, rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method, and verify that the cell sits squarely in your holder. Run a blank in the same orientation you will use for samples and confirm that the filled liquid level covers the beam path.

Fit and optical alignment

The uncapped cell body is 43 × 43 × 45 mm. These dimensions help you check holder seating and surrounding clearance, but they do not establish cap clearance or beam-center height.

Z Height is not listed for this option, so instrument fit should be reviewed where the beam position is fixed by the holder or spectrometer. If your application needs a lid or another closure arrangement, that should also be checked before ordering.

Solvents and cleaning

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. For routine care, rinse promptly after use and wipe the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
