Check the glass and medium before the holder fit
MQQMC063 is a glass microcuvette, not a quartz version of a similar shape. The selected option is listed for neutral solutions, with a nominal 10 mm path, 700 µL capacity and 2 mm narrow region. Those material and sample conditions belong at the start of selection.
The catalogue reference envelope is 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, adopted from the related glass-cell family. Confirm the ordered cell dimensions before using that envelope for instrument fit. A similar outline does not establish the optical or chemical behaviour of another material. Other capacity options are separate configurations; this guide concerns the 700 µL selection.

How the structure differs from a conventional cell
A wider loading area leads toward the narrow sample region, reducing nominal chamber capacity while retaining the specified path in the measurement direction. This brings filling and beam position into a closer relationship. The listed lid is a closure part; it does not establish a pressure-rated or gas-tight assembly.
Separate buying this glass cell from discussing a new design
For the current glass option, provide the actual neutral medium, wavelength and beam geometry. Check useful optical access and working liquid level against that method. Nominal capacity alone does not establish the smallest amount that will cover the beam.
For a modified design or a medium outside the stated restriction, ask MQ to review a separate material-and-construction proposal. Include the fixed holder interface and path, the desired sample region and the complete operating conditions. A possible JGS1 quartz proposal needs its own feasibility and quotation review; this glass listing does not establish custom-glass availability or the suitability of an alternative.

Three checks for the proposed setup
- Selected medium. Keep the stated neutral-solution restriction and provide the complete sample and cleaning media.
- Optical requirement. Give the wavelength and acceptance conditions for the finished glass cell.
- Option identity. Use the 700 µL / 2 mm configuration rather than borrowing another option’s dimensions.
Plan the method check within the accepted sample conditions
Assess continuous filling of the narrow region and whether bubbles or residue cross the intended beam. Check repeatable holder location separately. Grip non-optical outside edges and agree cleaning for the glass, adhesive-bonded construction and sample. Do not extend a material or medium claim from a different configuration.
What if our sample needs a material other than this glass configuration?
Describe the medium, cleaning conditions, wavelength and fixed instrument interfaces in a separate design enquiry. Keep the current glass SKU distinct from any proposed alternative. Material availability, geometry, optical evidence and price must be reviewed for that new proposal.
