What changes from the simpler form?

Adding end connections to a rectangular optical body creates a connected-envelope requirement. The body may resemble an ordinary cell while its end fittings need different seating, attachment and maintenance space.

Compare the cell and the interfaces separately

Record the existing body envelope, the connection at each end and the surfaces that locate the cell. A replacement can appear similar while meeting a seal, fitting or support differently. Identify those contacts rather than selecting by the analyser application alone.

If the instrument part cannot be measured completely, provide the available drawing and photographs with the missing dimensions marked. An uncertain dimension should remain a question, not become a guessed replacement specification.

Leave the maintenance operation room to happen

The cell must be installed and removed as well as held in position. Show the access needed to attach connections, release the support and withdraw the body. A part that fits its final position may still be difficult to service.

Include the cleaning or replacement sequence used by the instrument method. The external connection arrangement does not establish a compatible cleaning programme or a complete internal route.

A custom connection change needs the instrument reference

For example, a customer may need to retain the measurement-body arrangement while moving an end connection to clear a nearby component. Mark the features that must remain unchanged and provide the mating fitting and available space.

MQ can review the proposed geometry with the actual operating requirements. A changed interface does not automatically preserve the performance or calibration of the complete analyser.

Agree the replacement acceptance before supply

Specify the required fit, optical or fluid-interface checks and the records the laboratory needs. Keep the proposed checks distinct from any instrument-level validation required by the method.

No analyser compatibility, contamination result, service life or operating rating is claimed from the reference name. The ordered part and its verification scope need to be explicit in the quotation.

Does the online-analyser description confirm a direct replacement?

No. The actual interfaces, dimensions, operating conditions and method requirements must be compared with the installed assembly. Any required compatibility evidence should be agreed before ordering.
