Long-Neck Fluorescence Cuvette: Sampling Above the Optical Body
CUSTOM DESIGN GUIDE · C104TS19
C104TS19 places a long screw neck and injectable cap above a 10 mm quartz optical section. It is a reference for setups where sampling access belongs above the holder while observation stays in the lower chamber. The capped configuration is 114 mm high, with nominal 4.5 mL capacity.

Separate the sampling point from the observation region
A conventional open-top cuvette brings filling access close to the optical body. Extending the neck moves that access upward. This can be useful in a proposed setup where the lower body sits in a holder and a sampling tool approaches from above.
The reference optical body is 45 mm high; 114 mm describes the capped assembly. The difference is important because the measurement remains in the lower region. A taller neck does not make the full height an optical window or establish a different beam centre.

Describe the sampling procedure through the cap
The listed closure is an injectable screw-cap arrangement. A through-cap procedure involves the sampling accessory, its insertion direction and its reach into the chamber. The cap position and the sample level determine where that tool can arrive.
The proposed routine also matters. Adding liquid, taking an aliquot and removing the cap are different actions, with different space requirements above the neck. The closure materials and the parts touched by the sample belong in that same procedure.
Keep the optical faces available
The lower section has a 10 mm path and listed four-way optical access. In a fluorescence layout, illumination and collection may use different faces, so a holder must leave the chosen directions clear. Neck access solves the upper handling task; it does not replace that optical arrangement. [1]
The long-neck form is worth considering when its raised access has a purpose in the instrument. In a short compartment, the neck and cap-removal route can become the limiting dimensions even though the optical body fits.
A custom example: match the opening height to the sampling tool
ILLUSTRATIVE DESIGN EXAMPLE
Suppose the optical section fits an existing holder, but an overhead sampling tool needs the cap at a different level. A proposed neck can retain the measurement body and define the new access height, closure and tool reach together. This keeps the optical and sampling positions explicit rather than changing overall height alone.
