C102SQE is a quartz stoppered cuvette with a 10 mm optical path and a Two-Way Light layout. The stoppered top gives direct filling access and keeps the sample area covered during measurement. Supplied as a pack of 2 cuvettes with stoppers included.
Description
C102SQE is a quartz stoppered cuvette with a 10 mm optical path and a Two-Way Light layout for routine transmission measurements. It suits methods that use the main opposing optical faces rather than multi-side access, while the stoppered top keeps the sample area covered after filling. This MQ listing is supplied as a pack of 2 cuvettes with stoppers included.

Choose this option
Choose C102SQE when your method is built around a 10 mm transmission path and you want a stoppered rectangular cell instead of an open-top format. The top opening allows straightforward filling, and the stopper covers the sample during handling and measurement without changing the basic two-face optical layout. A pack of 2 is useful for routine blank/sample work or keeping the same selected format ready as a spare.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for methods written around this established transmission length.
- Two-Way Light configuration for measurement through two opposite optical faces.
- Stoppered top access lets you fill from above and then use the cell with the opening covered.
- Quartz body for a rectangular stoppered cell format rather than a disposable or open cup style.
- Pack of 2 cuvettes for this priced MQ sale unit.
- Stoppers included with the selected option.
Using this cell
Fill the cuvette so the liquid level fully covers the instrument beam, then insert the stopper gently. Before reading, remove visible bubbles from the optical path and keep the same cell orientation for blank and sample if your method depends on consistent positioning.
Hold the cuvette by the non-optical surfaces when possible. This helps keep the transmission faces cleaner and reduces smears in the light path.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces for chips, residue or transit dust.
- Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method before first measurement.
- Test fit the cuvette and stopper in your holder and confirm that the filled sample covers the instrument beam.
Fit and optical alignment
This cuvette uses a rectangular body with a stopper closure, but the external dimensions and Z Height are not established here. Check your holder clearance, beam position and any height-sensitive fixture requirement before ordering if your instrument does not simply accept a general rectangular cuvette format.
The 10 mm path length is established, but nominal volume and minimum working volume are not settled for this exact option. If your method depends on fill height or very small sample amounts, confirm the required geometry before purchase.
Solvents and cleaning
Quartz is used for the cuvette body, but the exact chemical limits for this selected assembly are not established here. If your sample, rinse liquid or cleaning routine involves aggressive chemicals, prolonged contact, elevated temperature or a process where closure behavior matters, please check suitability before ordering.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. For general care, rinse promptly after use and wipe the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue. See fabrication options for broader construction guidance.
Included with this option
Pack of 2 quartz stoppered cuvettes. Stoppers are included.
