Using this cell

Fill the cell from the top and keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements. During loading, avoid trapping bubbles in the illuminated region and keep the optical faces free from fingerprints and dried residue.

The stated 700 µL is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses reduced fill levels, check in your own instrument that the liquid column fully covers the beam before routine measurement.

First-use check

Before first use, inspect the interior and optical faces for dust or shipping residue. Test the cell in your holder, then run a blank in the same orientation you plan to use for samples so you can confirm stable seating and a clear beam path.

Fit and optical alignment

The uncapped body measures 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, with direct top access to the sample chamber. These body dimensions are useful for holder opening and vertical clearance checks, but they do not include any extra space needed once the lid is in place.

Z Height is not specified for this SKU, so instruments with a fixed beam center should not be matched by outer size alone. The 2 mm sample-region width is also worth checking where the beam is narrow or tightly positioned.

Solvents and cleaning
