(C012WS3) Quartz Flow Cell, 1 mm Path, 300 µL
Original price was: $394.00.$355.00Current price is: $355.00.
C012WS3 is a quartz flow cell with a 1 mm optical path, 300 µL nominal chamber and two fixed tube connections on the broad faces. Its flat 45 × 12.5 × 3.5 mm body suits flow setups that need direct line connection in a slim rectangular format. Supplied as 1 flow cell per sale unit.
Description
C012WS3 is a quartz flow cell for UV/Vis work across 200–2500 nm, combining a 1 mm optical path with a 300 µL nominal chamber. The flat rectangular body keeps the optical section compact, while the two fixed tube connections on the broad faces let you build the cell directly into a liquid line instead of filling it from an open top or stopper opening.
This option uses an integrated-forming structure and is listed under Molded 83. That construction style is commonly selected when the method involves organic-solvent handling or temperature-controlled work, but the usable conditions still depend on the complete wetted assembly and the actual chemicals, concentration, temperature and contact time in your setup.

Choose this option
Choose C012WS3 when you need a 1 mm flow path in a low-profile rectangular cell with tubing connections already fixed to the body. Its 300 µL nominal chamber gives a defined small-volume sample region for flowing liquid methods, and the broad-face connection layout is useful when your line routing and holder access are planned around a plate-style cell rather than a vertical fill opening.
What makes this option different
- 1 mm optical path: a defined short path for methods set up around this beam distance.
- 300 µL nominal chamber: enough chamber volume to plan filling, rinsing and sample change without treating the cell as an open reservoir.
- Two fixed tube connections: the cell is intended to be connected directly into a liquid line rather than filled manually from the top.
- Broad-face port layout: the two connections sit near opposite long ends on the broad faces, which affects tubing approach, side clearance and holder access around the installed cell.
- 5 mm OD / 3 mm ID tube ends: useful for checking external tubing fit and the internal connection bore separately.
- Molded 83 / integrated-forming structure: selected for applications that may involve organic-solvent methods or controlled-temperature use, with final suitability determined by the full assembly and operating conditions.
- 45 × 12.5 × 3.5 mm body dimensions: these dimensions describe the flat cell body only, not the projecting tube sections.
Using this cell
Install the cell in a suitable liquid line and fill it gradually so the chamber wets fully before measurement. The 300 µL nominal volume refers to the chamber in the cell itself, which helps when planning priming and sample change, but it does not include liquid held in connected tubing, pumps or other parts of the flow circuit.
Because access is through the fixed tube connections, routine use depends on your line layout rather than on direct top filling. After filling, inspect the optical region for bubbles or residue and run a suitable blank once the flow path is stable.
First-use check
- Confirm that the body seats flat and that connected tubing does not twist or lever against the cell.
- Check the tube ends against your intended line components before making the final connection.
- Fill with a suitable blank and inspect the optical region for trapped air or visible residue.
- Confirm stable flow in the installed setup before starting measurement.
Fit and optical alignment
The stated 45 × 12.5 × 3.5 mm dimensions apply to the flat body only. The tube connections project beyond that body, so check holder seating and the real clearance needed for tubing approach on the installed side faces.
Z Height is not specified for this item. If your instrument or holder depends on a defined beam-center height, confirm that requirement before ordering instead of matching by body size alone.
Solvents and cleaning
Molded 83 is commonly chosen for methods involving organic solvents and for applications where temperature-controlled operation is part of the setup. Selection still needs to consider the full wetted path, including any connected tubing and fittings, rather than the quartz cell body alone.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. Rinse promptly after use, and clean the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.

Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch together with your holder details, sample conditions and target quantity. Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; final specifications, quantity, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. Discuss your requirements and mention part number C012WS3.
