Using this cell

Fill each cell so the liquid covers the beam path, then cap it if your procedure calls for covered handling between filling and measurement. Keep blank and sample orientation consistent, and hold the cuvette by the non-optical sides to avoid fingerprints on the light path faces.

This is a Two-Way Light cuvette, so measurement is through one pair of opposite optical faces. Before use, check for bubbles, droplets or residue on the windows and near the top opening.

First-use check

Inspect the optical windows, top opening and threads before first use. Rinse with a suitable blank or cleaning liquid for your method, make sure each cap seats smoothly, and run a blank to confirm that the liquid level fully covers the beam in your instrument.

Fit and optical alignment

Each cuvette has a 12.5 × 12.5 mm square base, a 45 mm body height and a 55 mm overall height with the cap fitted. That supports routine holder-fit checks, but the taller format may need more top clearance than a short-body screw-top cell.

Z Height is not listed for this item. If your holder or instrument depends on a specific beam-center height, verify that requirement directly. The M10 thread refers to the sample-access closure and should not be treated as a fluid fitting or pressure rating.

Solvents and cleaning

Choose the sample and cleaning routine for the complete assembled cell, including the quartz body and PTFE closure. The exact chemical limits for the assembled item are not established here, so check suitability before using aggressive chemicals or long contact times.
