C504CR4 is a JGS1 quartz rectangular sample cell for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 50 mm optical path, Four-Way Light geometry and an included closure. Its square body and deep internal chamber suit methods that need a long path in a covered cell while keeping optical access on all four sides.

This version uses a 54 × 54 × 55 mm body with a 50 × 50 × 53 mm internal chamber. That geometry gives you a large sample region and more top depth inside the cell, but it also means you should check holder clearance and beam position in your own setup rather than assuming a standard beam-center height.

Using this cell

Fill the chamber so your liquid covers the beam region used by the instrument, then place the closure for routine handling. Because the chamber is both wide and deep, take a moment to settle the sample, remove droplets from the optical faces and keep the cell orientation consistent between blank and sample runs.

The closure helps keep the opening covered, but this is not a pressure-rated or leak-tested assembly. If your process depends on sealing performance or a specific closure material, that should be checked before use.
