Description
The C50.82CS is a high-capacity quartz cuvette with 50.8 mm path length and 30 ml internal volume. Fabricated using Standard 80 — precision-manufactured using standard fabrication processes with >80% transmittance across the UV-Vis range. The cell features two opposite faces polished to optical grade for standard transmission measurements. Ships without a cover (open top), allowing easy sample addition and removal with minimal contamination risk.

Why Two-Way Light?
Two-way light cuvettes have two opposite vertical faces polished to optical grade, forming the standard transmission geometry for UV-Vis absorbance measurements. This is the most common and cost-effective configuration for routine spectrophotometry.

Standard 80 cuvettes are manufactured using proven fabrication techniques that deliver >80% transmittance across the UV-Vis spectrum. They provide excellent optical performance for routine analytical work, offering a reliable balance between quality and value for high-throughput laboratory environments.
Usage Tips
Rinse with a compatible solvent (e.g., ethanol or the measurement solvent) before first use to remove residual particles. Do not use abrasive materials on polished optical faces — wipe gently with lens tissue. Withstands all common laboratory solvents, concentrated acids, and bases. Avoid HF (hydrofluoric acid). Store in the original protective case to prevent scratches on the optical windows.
