C102SR31 is a quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis work with a 10 mm optical path, Two-Way Light layout and 350 µL nominal capacity. Its stopper closure and 1 mm sample-region width suit methods that need a narrow filled measurement zone in a covered cell. Sold as 1 cuvette per price unit; closure included.
Description
C102SR31 is a quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path and a 350 µL nominal capacity. This version combines a stopper closure with a narrow 1 mm sample region, which is useful when you want a covered micro cell and a tightly defined illuminated section. The quartz body is specified for use from 200 to 2500 nm.

Choose this option
Choose C102SR31 when your method calls for a 10 mm path in a compact quartz cell and the sample region needs to stay narrow. The stopper gives covered access after filling, while the 350 µL nominal capacity keeps this option in the micro-volume range. It is a practical choice for UV/Vis routines using volatile liquids, provided your holder and beam position suit this body geometry.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for methods written around this standard transmission length.
- 350 µL nominal capacity in a micro cuvette format for small filled volumes.
- 1 mm sample-region width for a particularly narrow filled measurement zone.
- Two-Way Light layout for transmission measurement through the defined optical path.
- Stopper closure included so the cell is supplied in the covered format shown for this SKU.
- Quartz body, 200–2500 nm for UV/Vis use across the stated wavelength range.
Using this cell
Fill the cell carefully so the beam passes through a continuous liquid column in the sample region. Avoid bubbles, droplets and residue on the optical faces, and keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements.
Seat the stopper gently after filling. The stopper is part of the access and handling format, but it should not be treated as a pressure-rated or chemically verified seal for every liquid system.
First-use check
- Inspect the cuvette and stopper after unpacking.
- Rinse with a liquid suitable for your method and confirm clean filling of the sample region.
- Place the cell in the holder and verify beam coverage through the filled liquid.
- Run a blank before routine measurements.
Fit and optical alignment
The 1 mm sample-region width is an important part of selecting this cuvette. Your beam needs to pass cleanly through that narrow filled region, so beam size and holder position matter more here than with a wider sample section.
Z Height is not listed for this SKU, and external fit dimensions are not established here as customer specifications. If your instrument has a fixed beam center or a dedicated micro-cell holder, check the holder drawing or clearance before ordering rather than assuming fit from the 10 mm path alone.
Solvents and cleaning
This quartz cell is specified for UV/Vis use, but the chemical limits of the complete stopper-equipped assembly are not established here. If your sample or cleaning routine involves aggressive solvents, review the actual liquid, concentration, temperature and contact time for your process. For fabrication background across cuvette types, see Compare fabrication options.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe the optical faces only with non-abrasive optical tissue and a suitable laboratory cleaning liquid.
Included with this option
1 cuvette per listed price unit. Closure included.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch and identify the dimensions and tolerances that are critical to your application. Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; the final quantity, feasibility, specifications, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. Modified designs and prototype batches are quoted separately from the listed SKU. Discuss your requirements and quote part number C102SR31.
