(C102SD2) Quartz Ultra-Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 200 µL
Original price was: $133.00.$120.00Current price is: $120.00.
C102SD2 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, Two-Way Light layout and 200 µL nominal capacity. This stopper-equipped version suits methods that need covered sample handling with more nominal volume than the smaller stoppered options. MQ currently lists this SKU as 1 cuvette per price unit, with a stopper included.
Description
C102SD2 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, Two-Way Light layout and 200 µL nominal capacity. The stoppered format is useful when you want the sample chamber covered during routine handling and setup, and this version is identified for volatile-solution use. MQ currently lists this SKU as 1 cuvette per price unit, with a stopper included.

Choose this option
Choose C102SD2 when you want a stoppered ultra-micro transmission cuvette with more nominal capacity than the 50 µL and 100 µL variants. The 200 µL volume gives extra room for sample loading while keeping the same 10 mm path and covered handling style, which can be helpful for low-volume UV/Vis work where the sample should not remain open during transfer.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for UV/Vis methods that use this standard transmission length.
- 200 µL nominal capacity in an ultra-micro format.
- Two-Way Light layout for straight-through measurements through the main optical faces.
- Stopper-equipped top for covered sample handling.
- Identified for volatile-solution use.
Using this cell
Fill the cell so the measurement region is fully covered, then seat the stopper gently before placing the cuvette in the holder. Check for bubbles and use the same orientation for blank and sample measurements so the beam passes through the same part of the sample region.
The 200 µL figure is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. The actual fill needed depends on your beam position and the geometry of the holder in your instrument.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and stopper contact area before first use.
- Rinse with a suitable liquid for your method and dry the outer optical faces gently.
- Run a blank and confirm that the beam passes through a fully covered, bubble-free sample region.
Fit and optical alignment
This is a Two-Way Light cuvette intended for transmission measurements rather than side-access optical layouts. In an ultra-micro body, beam height and holder clearance are still critical, because the path length alone does not guarantee that the beam lines up with the filled sample region.
Z Height is not established here for customer specification use, and the external fit envelope is not settled for guaranteed holder matching. If your setup has a fixed beam position or limited compartment space, please send the holder drawing, instrument model or key clearances through Discuss your requirements.
Solvents and cleaning
Quartz is used here for UV/Vis work, but the chemical limits of this exact assembled cell are not established here. If your sample, rinse liquid or cleaning routine involves aggressive chemicals, prolonged contact or unusual temperatures, check the full conditions before ordering.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning. For general background on cuvette fabrication approaches, see Compare fabrication methods.
Included with this option
One C102SD2 ultra-micro cuvette with stopper included.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and fabrication details. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch, your holder or instrument information, sample conditions and target quantity. Discuss your requirements and quote part number C102SD2.
