(C102CD12) Quartz Ultra-Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 20 µL
Original price was: $237.00.$214.00Current price is: $214.00.
C102CD12 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, Two-Way Light layout and 20 µL nominal capacity. Its open-top body and nominal 15 mm Z Height make it useful when you need low-volume filling with a defined beam-center height for holder matching. Supplied as 1 cuvette, with a closure included.
Description
C102CD12 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy that keeps a 10 mm optical path in a 20 µL nominal-volume format. This option combines Two-Way Light transmission with a nominal 15 mm Z Height, so it is a practical choice when you need both low sample volume and a specific beam-centre position. The body is open at the top for direct filling, and the price is for 1 cuvette.

Choose this option
Choose C102CD12 when you want a 10 mm transmission path but need a little more nominal fill volume than the smallest ultra-micro option in this series. The open-top body gives straightforward sample access, and the stated 15 mm Z Height helps you check whether the cell will place the optical centre where your instrument or holder expects it.
What makes this option different
- 20 µL nominal capacity gives a small-volume format while providing more sample headroom than the 10 µL version.
- Open-top access allows direct filling and visual inspection of the sample region before measurement.
- Two-Way Light layout supports straight-through UV/Vis transmission through the main optical faces.
- 15 mm nominal Z Height is useful when holder geometry and beam height are part of the selection.
- Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction suits routine room-temperature water-based samples and buffers rather than organic-solvent methods.
Using this cell
Fill from the open top and make sure the illuminated region is fully covered during measurement. Because this is still an ultra-micro format, add the sample slowly, watch for bubbles, and keep the same seating orientation for blanks and samples.
A closure is included for handling, but this remains an open-top cell body. It should not be treated as a pressure-rated or leak-tight process assembly.
First-use check
- Inspect the optical faces and sample opening for dust or residue.
- Place the empty cell in the holder and check that it seats squarely.
- Run a blank and confirm that the filled region covers the beam without bubbles.
- Keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements.
Fit and optical alignment
The stated body dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, and that size applies to the cell body only. Check holder seating and clearance above the opening area if your setup is tight around the cuvette position.
The nominal Z Height is 15 mm from the cell bottom to the optical centre. Compare that with your instrument beam height before ordering. The 20 µL value is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume, so verify that your actual fill level covers the beam used in your measurement.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. It is generally selected for room-temperature water-based samples and buffers. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this cell.
The exact chemical limits for the assembled wetted construction are not established here, so check compatibility before use if your sample or cleaning method is chemically demanding. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials, and clean the optical faces gently.
Included with this option
Supplied as 1 cuvette. A closure is included.
