(C102CD16) Quartz Ultra-Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 10 µL
Original price was: $237.00.$214.00Current price is: $214.00.
C102CD16 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for UV/Vis work with a 10 mm optical path and 10 µL nominal capacity. This Two-Way Light, open-top version is intended for very small sample loads and uses an 8.5 mm Z Height for setups that need a defined beam position. Supplied as 1 cuvette, with closure included.
Description
C102CD16 is an ultra-micro quartz cuvette for UV/Vis measurements when a 10 mm optical path must be kept in a very small-volume cell. This version combines a 10 µL nominal capacity, Two-Way Light transmission and an 8.5 mm Z Height in a compact body, making it useful where both low nominal fill and beam placement are important. The open-top body allows direct loading from above, and the sale unit is 1 cuvette.

Choose this option
Choose C102CD16 when your method needs a 10 mm path length but only a very small nominal sample capacity is suitable. It is a strong fit for holders and instruments that need the 8.5 mm bottom-to-optical-centre position, while the open-top format keeps loading simple for small-volume work.
What makes this option different
- 10 µL nominal capacity makes this one of the smallest-volume options in the family for methods built around very limited sample amounts.
- 10 mm path length keeps the standard absorption path in an ultra-micro body.
- Two-Way Light layout is designed for straight-through transmission through two opposing optical faces.
- Open-top access lets you load and inspect the sample directly from above.
- 8.5 mm Z Height gives a defined optical-centre position to compare with your beam height.
- Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction is generally selected for room-temperature water-based samples and buffers rather than organic-solvent use.
Using this cell
Fill from the open top and make sure the sample covers the illuminated region at your measurement position. With a 10 µL nominal cell, loading practice matters: avoid bubbles, keep the cell upright and use the same orientation for blank and sample runs.
The included closure can help with handling after loading, but no sealing, leak-tight or pressure performance is established here. Nominal capacity identifies the cell option and should not be treated as a minimum working volume.
First-use check
Before first use, inspect the optical faces and interior for dust or residue, then test-fit the cell in your holder. Run a blank and confirm that your fill procedure covers the beam cleanly and repeatably.
Fit and optical alignment
The body dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, and those dimensions apply to the bare body only. Use them to check holder seating, side clearance and vertical space around the cell itself; any extra room needed for the closure should be checked in your setup.
The specified Z Height is 8.5 mm from the cell bottom to the optical centre. Compare that with your instrument beam position rather than assuming fit from the 10 mm path length alone.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this assembled cell.
Detailed chemical compatibility limits are not established here for the full wetted assembly, including the closure, so check your sample and cleaning liquids before use. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods, and wipe the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
Included with this option
Supplied as 1 ultra-micro cuvette. A closure is included.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz cuvettes for changes involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and fabrication requirements. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch, together with your holder or instrument details, critical dimensions, sample conditions and target quantity.
Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; feasibility, final specifications, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. Discuss your requirements and quote part number C102CD16.
