(C102CD17) Quartz Ultra-Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 20 µL
Original price was: $237.00.$214.00Current price is: $214.00.
C102CD17 is a JGS1 quartz ultra-micro cuvette for UV/Vis work with a 10 mm optical path and 20 µL nominal capacity. This Two-Way Light, open-top version pairs small-volume loading with an 8.5 mm Z Height for setups that need a defined optical centre in a compact body. Supplied as 1 cuvette, with closure included.
Description
C102CD17 is an ultra-micro quartz cuvette for UV/Vis measurements that need a 10 mm path length in a small-volume cell. This version combines a 20 µL nominal capacity with Two-Way Light transmission and an 8.5 mm Z Height, so it suits methods that need a compact sample cell and a known bottom-to-optical-centre reference. The open-top body gives direct access for filling, and the listed sale unit is 1 cuvette.

Choose this option
Choose C102CD17 when a 10 mm optical path is required but a 20 µL nominal cell is a better match than the very smallest or larger-capacity variants. It keeps the same compact body section and 8.5 mm beam-height reference while giving a little more nominal sample volume for loading and handling than the 10 µL version.
What makes this option different
- 20 µL nominal capacity offers a small-volume option between the lowest-volume and larger-capacity cells in this family.
- 10 mm path length supports UV/Vis methods that are built around that optical path.
- Two-Way Light layout is intended for direct transmission across two opposing optical faces.
- Open-top access allows direct filling and visual checking of the sample from above.
- 8.5 mm Z Height gives a defined beam-centre reference from the cell base.
- Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction is generally chosen for routine room-temperature water-based samples and buffers rather than organic-solvent methods.
Using this cell
Load the sample from the open top and make sure the filled sample region covers the beam during measurement. For low-volume work, keep the cell upright, avoid bubbles and use a consistent filling routine so blank and sample runs are presented in the same way.
The included closure is for handling and does not establish pressure service or a leak-tight seal. The 20 µL figure is a nominal capacity and should not be treated as a minimum working volume.
First-use check
Inspect the interior and optical faces before first use, then place the empty cuvette in the holder to confirm stable seating. Run a blank and verify that your usual fill level covers the beam cleanly without trapped bubbles.
Fit and optical alignment
The body dimensions are 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm for the bare cell body. Use those dimensions to check holder seating and surrounding clearance at the body, and check any extra space needed if you use the supplied closure during handling or storage.
The Z Height is 8.5 mm from the cell bottom to the optical centre. That is the key alignment value to compare with your instrument beam position before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this assembled cell.
Detailed chemical compatibility limits are not established here for the full wetted assembly, including the closure, so check your sample and cleaning liquids before use. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods, and clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
Included with this option
Supplied as 1 ultra-micro cuvette. A closure is included.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz cuvettes for changes involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and fabrication requirements. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch, together with your holder or instrument details, critical dimensions, sample conditions and target quantity.
Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells; feasibility, final specifications, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. Discuss your requirements and quote part number C102CD17.
