Using this cell

Load the sample from the top and check that the filled region fully covers the illuminated area without trapped bubbles. Use the same seating direction for blank and sample so that your measurement conditions stay consistent from run to run.

Nominal capacity is the chamber volume, not a guaranteed minimum working volume. Your actual fill requirement depends on the holder, beam position and how the cell sits in the instrument. Because this is an open-top cell, choose it for direct loading workflows rather than for a closed or pressure-handled setup.

First-use check

Rinse the chamber with a compatible liquid before the first measurement.
Inspect the optical faces and chamber for dust, residue or droplets.
Run a blank with the cell seated in its normal measurement orientation.
Confirm that the filled sample region covers the beam path under real measurement conditions.

Fit and optical alignment
