Choose this option
- Choose this option: your procedure needs two separate liquid compartments in one cuvette body, with 1665 µL nominal capacity per chamber.
- Compare before ordering: a conventional single-chamber cell provides one shared liquid space. If mixing is required, specify a mixing-cell design rather than relying on the dividing wall.

What makes this option different
- Two chambers: 1665 µL nominal capacity per chamber, rather than a single shared sample space.
- 0.5 mm partition: each chamber has internal dimensions of 10 × 4.75 × 43 mm.
- 10 mm specified path: Molded 83 fabrication; the MQ grade specification gives a path length tolerance of ±0.02 mm.
Using a two-chamber setup
Define which liquid goes in each chamber and which chamber or chambers your beam crosses. The 0.5 mm partition is a dividing-wall dimension, not the distance through the liquid.
If the configured beam crosses both filled chambers, both liquids contribute to the reading; the result should not be treated as a measurement of one chamber alone. Define the beam route and blank arrangement in your method before comparing results.
Fill each chamber to cover its measurement region. The per-chamber capacity is not a minimum working volume. Keep placement and beam direction consistent between the readings required by your method.
Use separate pipette tips for the two chambers when cross-contamination matters, and record which liquid belongs in each compartment. Check both fill levels before reading so the intended optical route stays below the liquid surfaces.
First-use check
- Inspect both chambers and the partition for damage or residue.
- Once the window layout and beam route are confirmed, arrange the blank liquids as required by the two-compartment measurement method.
- Use the same chamber assignment, cell orientation and fill procedure for each reading; check both compartments for bubbles.
Fit and optical setup
The open cell body measures 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm. Before choosing this option, send your intended beam direction and holder model so the transmission-window layout can be checked; that layout is not yet established for this SKU.
If your procedure requires mixing between compartments, specify that requirement. The two-chamber design alone does not establish a mixing function or double-beam instrument compatibility.

Solvents and cleaning — Molded 83
Select the chemicals for both chambers and for cleaning together. For this Molded 83 option, suitability at specific solvent concentrations, temperatures and contact times needs a compatibility check before use.
Avoid hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Check strong-alkali cleaning, heated baths and extended chemical soaking before adopting a cleaning procedure. Keep residues off the optical faces and use non-abrasive optical tissue externally.
Included with this option
1 MQQFL018 two-chamber cuvette. The price is for one complete cell. If you need a cover, ask about its inclusion, type and material before ordering.
For an optical setup check, send the intended beam direction, holder model and the role of each chamber in your method. Send a product-selection enquiry with SKU MQQFL018, quantity and delivery destination.
If your method requires a measured path-length report, dimensional inspection or material documentation, state the required scope and acceptance criteria with the enquiry so availability and any charge can be confirmed before ordering.
Availability and ordering
Stock may not be immediately available for this specialised configuration. You can order the listed specification directly, or contact us first to confirm availability and any preparation or production wait.
For a time-sensitive order, please check timing with us before checkout. Preparation or production time is separate from carrier transit.
Discuss a custom version
For a two-chamber design, specify the optical path and sample volume needed for each chamber, the window arrangement and the required partition dimensions.
We coordinate custom JGS1 quartz production for requirements involving dimensions, optical path length, sample volume, optical windows or Z Height, closures and connections, fabrication and tolerances. Send a dimensioned drawing or labelled sketch and identify the dimensions and tolerances that are critical to your application.
Prototype batches typically involve 2–4 cells. The final quantity, feasibility, specifications, fabrication, inspection requirements, price and production time are confirmed in the project quotation. The displayed price applies to the listed SKU and pack quantity; modified designs and prototype batches are quoted separately.
Discuss a custom version. You can start with a sketch, reference photograph or instrument and holder information if you do not yet have a complete drawing. Include the required quantity and target date with your enquiry.
