Choose this option

Choose MQQFL081 when your method needs a 30 mm path in a fluorescence cell that stays low in height while still giving side access around the sample region. The open top allows direct filling and visual checking, and the locating features on the base are useful when the cell needs to sit in a matching fixture with repeatable orientation.

What makes this option different

  • 30 mm optical path for methods built around this longer path length in a fluorescence cuvette format.
  • Four-Way Light configuration provides optical access on four sides for measurement arrangements that use this geometry.
  • Open-top sample chamber gives direct access for filling, rinsing and visual inspection before measurement.
  • Shallow 34 × 34 mm body with 8 mm height suits holders and assemblies where overall vertical clearance is limited.
  • Base locating features help align the cell consistently in a receiving holder designed for this pattern.

Using this cell

Fill the sample chamber from the top and use enough liquid to cover the optical region used by your method. Before measurement, remove bubbles from the light path area and wipe any exterior droplets from the optical faces.

Keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs if your setup relies on a fixed viewing direction. The open body format also makes it easier to inspect the sample surface and chamber during rinsing and changeover.

First-use check

  1. Inspect the optical faces and chamber edges for chips, residue or handling marks.
  2. Place the cell in the holder and make sure it seats fully without rocking or interference.
  3. Run a blank in the intended orientation and confirm that the illuminated region is fully covered and free of bubbles.

Fit and optical alignment

View the English selection reference.

The external body is 34 × 34 mm with an 8 mm body height, so this cell fits applications that need a wide, shallow body rather than a standard tall cuvette shape. Check top access around the holder and confirm that the fixture accepts the base pattern as shown on the reference drawing.

The 8 mm body height is the overall body height, not a stated Z Height. If your instrument or holder depends on beam-center height, verify that dimension separately before routine use.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette uses Molded 83 fabrication with JGS1 quartz. It is a suitable direction for fluorescence methods that may involve organic-solvent use, but solvent choice should still match the actual sample, cleaning procedure and full assembly used in your work.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid with quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods, and clean the optical faces gently with suitable non-abrasive lab wipes or optical tissue.

Included with this option

1 Quartz Fluorescence Cuvette, sold as 1 piece.

Availability and ordering

Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.

Discuss a custom version

If you need a different path length, body outline or holder-related fit, please send a drawing or labelled sketch with the dimensions that matter to your setup. For fluorescence projects, it is also helpful to include fixture details, beam position requirements, sample conditions and target quantity.
