Structure and dimensions
Using this cell
Use the cuvette in the intended orientation and keep that orientation consistent between blank and sample. Rotating the cell changes the optical path from 20 mm to 10 mm, so choose the measurement direction before calibration or concentration calculations.
For fluorescence work, align the cell with the optical directions used by your fixture and fill the chamber so the illuminated region is covered. Remove bubbles before measurement, and place the flat lid after filling when covered handling is useful for your procedure.

- Run a blank to verify beam coverage and fill level before sample measurement.

The exterior dimensions are 22.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm, with a 22.5 × 12.5 mm base. Check holder opening, side clearance and vertical clearance above the lid before ordering. Z Height is not listed here, so beam fit should be checked from the actual beam position rather than assumed from overall height alone.
Support the cell on its base and side walls without forcing the optical faces against hard clamps. If you need a fit review, send the holder opening, beam height and beam footprint.
Solvents and cleaning
For a method with a defined optical path tolerance, specify that tolerance and its measurement conditions when selecting the Molded 0.01 option. The final requirement is agreed for the order.
Molded 0.01 is used here for customers selecting this geometry for higher path-length precision requirements. It is a useful direction when the path definition matters, but solvent and cleaning suitability still need to match your actual sample, rinse and temperature conditions for the complete cell.
Keep hydrofluoric acid away from quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaners. Clean the optical faces gently with non-abrasive laboratory tissue or similar non-scratching materials.
