Using this cell

Install the cell in line with the two opposed tubes and support it by the body during handling. Fill gradually so the optical region wets evenly, then inspect the illuminated area for bubbles or residue before measuring.

The nominal 140 µL figure describes the cell volume itself. It does not include the volume in connected tubing or fittings, and no minimum working volume is listed for this SKU.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and both tube ends for visible damage or contamination.
Trial-fit the cell in the holder and confirm line clearance at both ends.
Fill with a suitable blank or carrier liquid and remove bubbles before baseline measurement.

Fit and optical alignment

The cell body is 28 × 3 × 12.5 mm, while the overall listed dimensions are 70 × 4 × 12.5 mm. Use the body dimensions for holder seating around the optical section, and use the overall dimensions to check the installed length and clearance for the projecting tube ends.

Z Height is not listed for this option. If your holder or instrument depends on a defined beam height, check that point before ordering rather than assuming compatibility from the external shape.

Solvents and cleaning

This cell uses Molded 83 fabrication. This construction is commonly selected for organic-solvent methods and applications involving temperature control, but the exact chemical limits for this SKU are not specified here.

Choose sample and cleaning conditions for the complete wetted assembly, not only the quartz body. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
