USD$237.00 USD$214.00
Quartz 1/5 mm six-way light fluorescence cuvette, 130 µl, Standard 80 (>80% transmittance). 190–2500 nm. Flow cell with inlet/outlet ports (no cap). SKU: C016WS.
Description
The C016WS is a premium quartz fluorescence cuvette with 1/5 mm path length and six-way light optical configuration — all four vertical faces plus top and bottom are polished to optical grade, offering maximum optical access for multi-directional excitation and detection. With a ultra-micro 130 µl internal volume (10 × 5 × 26 mm chamber), the cell is compatible with most commercial fluorimeters and UV-Vis spectrophotometers. Fabricated using Standard 80 (>80% transmittance) — assembled with optical-grade adhesive for reliable performance with aqueous samples.

Fluorescence Applications
Why Six-Way Light?
The six-way configuration polishes all four vertical faces plus the top and bottom to optical grade, offering the ultimate in geometric flexibility. This allows excitation and detection from any direction, making it suitable for total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF), multi-angle polarization studies, and instrument configurations that require top or bottom optical access. Choose six-way when maximum optical versatility is required.
Why Standard 80 Construction?
Standard 80 cuvettes are assembled using optical-grade adhesive to bond precision quartz panels, achieving transmittance >80% at 200–2500 nm. This fabrication method delivers reliable optical performance at an accessible price point — ideal for routine fluorescence measurements with aqueous samples. Standard 80 cuvettes are intended for use with aqueous (water-based) solutions only; organic solvents, strong acids, or strong bases may attack the adhesive joints. For solvent-resistant applications, consider Sintered 83 or Molded 83 alternatives.
