Using this cell

Fill the cell so the illuminated sample region is fully covered during measurement. The 1.05 mL figure is a nominal capacity for the cell, not a minimum working volume, so the actual fill level still depends on your instrument beam position and on maintaining stable, bubble-free coverage in the optical path.

For routine UV/Vis work, keep the same orientation for blank and sample measurements and keep the optical faces clean and dry on the outside. If you measure with the closure in place, check that it does not interfere with your holder or instrument lid clearance.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces for dust, residue or marks before first use.
Test the empty uncapped cell in your holder and confirm stable seating.
Run a blank and confirm that your normal fill level covers the beam without bubbles.
If you will use the closure during handling or measurement, check installed clearance in your setup.
