(C102SS37) Quartz Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 1.05 mL
Original price was: $76.00.$69.00Current price is: $69.00.
C102SS37 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, a 3 mm sample-region slit and 1.05 mL nominal capacity. This Two-Way Light version is supplied with a closure and is sold as 1 cuvette per price unit.
Description
C102SS37 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis work that combines a standard 10 mm optical path with a narrower 3 mm sample region. Its 1.05 mL nominal capacity and included closure make it a practical choice when you want a stoppered micro cell rather than a full-width cuvette format. This version is intended for neutral solutions only.

Choose this option
Choose C102SS37 when your method calls for a 10 mm path length but your sample region needs to stay within a 3 mm slit format. The stoppered top helps with routine filling and handling in micro-volume work, while the stated nominal capacity gives you a useful planning point for sample preparation. It suits straight-through UV/Vis measurements in setups that can accommodate this specific microcell geometry.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path for UV/Vis methods that use this standard path length.
- 3 mm sample-region slit, separate from the 10 mm path length.
- 1.05 mL nominal capacity in a micro cuvette format.
- Two-Way Light layout with closure included.
- Restricted to neutral solutions.
Using this cell
Fill the cell so the illuminated region is fully covered during measurement. After filling, check for bubbles or droplets in the sample region and keep the same orientation for blank and sample so the beam passes through the same part of the cell each time.
Insert the closure gently after filling and avoid forcing it into place. The nominal capacity is the stated full volume of the cell, not a minimum working volume, so low-fill methods should be checked in the actual holder and beam position you use.
First-use check
- Inspect the quartz body and optical faces for chips, dust or residue.
- Place the cell in your holder and confirm stable seating and beam alignment.
- Run a blank with your intended liquid and confirm that the filled sample region is fully covered without trapped bubbles.
Fit and optical alignment
The 3 mm figure describes the sample-region slit, which is useful when you are checking beam coverage in a microcell method. It should not be treated as a complete external fit dimension or a certified clear aperture.
Z Height and full external dimensions are not established for this option. If your instrument has a fixed beam-center height or a tight holder opening, check the holder drawing and beam position before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
Use this cuvette with neutral solutions only. Keep the same restriction in mind for both sample contact and cleaning routine.
For general construction background, see cuvette fabrication methods. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
Included with this option
1 cuvette per listed price unit. Closure included.
Availability and ordering
Order this listed specification directly, or ask about current availability and dispatch. If your delivery date is important, ask before checkout; preparation or production time is separate from transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
If you need a different slit width, holder fit or other microcell geometry, send a drawing or describe the change you need. Custom JGS1 quartz enquiries are reviewed separately from this listed specification.
