Using this cell

Fill the cell so the illuminated sample region is fully covered and free of bubbles, then place the closure gently after filling. Keep the optical faces clean and use the same orientation for blank and sample runs for more consistent handling.

The 1.75 mL value is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses a low liquid level or a fixed beam position, check that the filled region matches your setup before routine measurements.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces, rim and chamber for dust or transit damage.
Test fit the cell in your holder before filling with sample.
Run a suitable blank first and confirm stable seating and clean beam passage through the filled region.
Fit the closure gently and check that it suits your normal bench handling.
