Using this cell

Fill the cell so the liquid fully covers the optical region used by your instrument, then insert the stopper gently if your procedure benefits from a covered sample. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs, and keep bubbles, droplets and residue away from the optical faces.

The 3.5 mL value is the nominal capacity of the cell, not a minimum working volume. If your method depends on low fill levels, check the actual liquid height against your beam position before routine use.

First-use check
