Choose this option

Choose C102WS1 when your method is built around a 10 mm transmission path and you want to introduce the sample through a narrow upper neck instead of a wide open top. The neck format helps when filling access needs to stay above the holder area, and the 8 mm outer diameter is also a useful fit detail if the cell must pass through a sleeve, guide or enclosed compartment opening.

Using this cell

Fill the cell through the neck and make sure the liquid covers the beam area during measurement. Remove visible bubbles before reading, especially if they sit in the optical path, and keep the same cell orientation for blank and sample when your method depends on consistent positioning.

The stated 3.5 mL is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If you plan to work with limited sample height, check the actual filled region in your instrument before routine use.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces under good light, rinse the sample area with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method, and test the cell in the holder before measuring valuable samples. A blank run in the intended orientation is a good first check for fill level, beam coverage and handling cleanliness.

Fit and optical alignment

The cell body uses a 12.5 × 12.5 mm base, with a listed body height of 45 mm and a total length of 95 mm including the neck. That gives extra reach above the measurement body, but you should also check clearance above the holder for lids, clamps or nearby hardware.

Z Height is not listed for this option. If your spectrometer or holder depends on a fixed beam-center height, please verify that requirement before ordering rather than assuming fit from path length or outer shape alone.

Solvents and cleaning

This cell uses Molded 83 fabrication. This construction is commonly selected for methods that may involve organic solvents or temperature-controlled work, but suitability still depends on the actual chemical, concentration, temperature and contact time in your process.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe the optical faces with non-abrasive optical tissue.
