C102WS2 is a rectangular sample cell for UV/Vis spectroscopy with a 10 mm optical path, Two-Way Light layout and a long tube-neck opening. The 12.5 × 12.5 mm cell base is combined with a 95 mm overall length and a transition section in the upper tube assembly, so this option is useful when you need to plan not only the optical body but also the shape above it.

Using this cell

Fill the sample through the tube neck and make sure the liquid level covers the beam area during measurement. If your method uses a blank and a sample, keep the same orientation between runs and remove any visible bubbles from the optical region before reading.

The 3.5 mL figure is the nominal cell capacity. It should not be treated as a minimum working fill, so low-level operation should be checked in the actual instrument.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces and the upper neck for dust or residue, rinse with a suitable cleaning liquid, and test fit the cell in the holder before use. A blank run is a practical first check for beam coverage, orientation and fill level.

Fit and optical alignment

The base is 12.5 × 12.5 mm, the body height is 45 mm, and the full listed length is 95 mm including the upper tube section. Those dimensions help you check holder entry, vertical clearance and nearby hardware around the neck and transition area.

Z Height is not listed for this SKU. If your instrument uses a fixed beam height or a holder with limited vertical tolerance, confirm beam alignment before ordering rather than relying on the outer form alone.

Solvents and cleaning

This cell uses Molded 83 fabrication. This type is commonly chosen for methods that may involve organic solvents or temperature-controlled work, but solvent choice should be considered for the complete assembly because this version includes a transition structure above the quartz cell body.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials, and check your actual chemical, concentration, temperature and exposure time before using aggressive reagents.
