Its compact 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm uncapped body and 3 mm sample-region width make it useful when you want a smaller defined sample chamber without changing to an unusual external cuvette format. Using this cell

Fill the cuvette so the beam passes fully through liquid, and keep the optical faces free from bubbles, droplets and residue. Use the same seating direction for blank and sample runs so the light continues to pass through the same two optical faces.

The 1.05 mL figure is the nominal body capacity, not a minimum working volume. Set the working fill according to your beam height and the filled region your method needs to keep stable.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces, chamber and lid contact area before first use. Test the uncapped body in your holder, rinse with a suitable cleaning liquid for your method, then run a blank at your working wavelength before sample measurement.

Fit and optical alignment
