Using this cell

Fill each cuvette so the beam passes fully through liquid, and keep the optical faces free from bubbles, fingerprints and drying marks. When using both cells in the same method, keep the same seating direction for blank and sample measurements so the beam continues to pass through the same optical faces.

The 1.05 mL figure is the nominal body capacity, not a minimum working volume. Set the actual fill level according to your beam height and the stable filled region needed by your procedure.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes for clean optical faces, intact chamber edges and clean lid contact areas. Test the uncapped bodies in your holder, then run a blank in the same orientation you plan to use for measurement.

Fit and optical alignment

The stated 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm dimensions apply to the uncapped body. Check holder seating with those body dimensions, and allow additional top clearance for the PTFE lids because the full capped dimensions are not specified here.
