C102CS12 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis measurements that use a standard 10 mm transmission path in a compact sample format. It combines a 1.05 mL nominal capacity with a 3 mm sample-region width, so you can work with a defined narrow measurement zone rather than a wider full-width chamber.

The PTFE lid is included for this option, and the stated 200–2500 nm range supports UV/Vis use. It is sold as 1 cuvette per price unit.

Using this cell

Fill the cuvette so the illuminated region is fully covered and free of bubbles. Keep the outside optical faces clean and dry before placing the cell in the holder, and keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs.

The PTFE lid helps cover the filled cell during routine handling, but this page does not present a pressure or leak-tight rating. The 1.05 mL value is nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume.

First-use check

Inspect the optical windows for chips, residue or transit damage.
Rinse only with a compatible liquid for this construction.
Test-fit the empty cell in your holder before filling.
Run a blank in the same orientation you will use for measurement.

Fit and optical alignment

The listed external size is for the uncapped cell body: 12.5 × 12.5 × 45 mm. Use that body size when checking holder seating, and allow extra clearance if you plan to keep the lid in place during handling or measurement.

Z Height is not established for this SKU. If your holder has a fixed beam height or limited vertical clearance, verify the seated beam position before ordering.

Solvents and cleaning

This adhesive-bonded cuvette uses Standard 80 construction. For this option, supplier guidance limits use to neutral solutions.

Do not soak or rinse with ethanol, and do not use acids, alkalis or organic solvents with this construction. Clean promptly after use with a compatible neutral aqueous liquid, and avoid abrasive wiping on the optical faces.
