(C102CS6) Quartz Micro Cuvette, 10 mm Path, 450 µL
Original price was: $48.00.$44.00Current price is: $44.00.
C102CS6 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis work, combining a 10 mm optical path with a 450 µL nominal capacity in a compact open-top body. Its included PTFE lid supports covered handling after direct top filling. Supplied as 1 cuvette per sale.
Description
C102CS6 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis measurements that need a full 10 mm path in a shorter, compact body. The open-top format allows direct filling, while the 450 µL nominal capacity and 25 mm uncapped body height suit setups where a lower-profile cell is preferred.
This version uses adhesive-bonded quartz construction and includes a PTFE lid. The stated wavelength range is 200–2500 nm, and this sale is for 1 cuvette.

Choose this option
Choose C102CS6 when you want a 10 mm quartz micro cuvette that is easier to fill directly from the top and does not use a full-height 45 mm body. It is a practical option for UV/Vis work where the compact 12.5 × 12.5 × 25 mm uncapped body helps with holder clearance, bench handling or accessory space, while still keeping the usual 10 mm path length.
What makes this option different
- 10 mm optical path: standard path length in a compact micro cuvette format.
- Open-top access: direct filling and emptying from the top of the cell.
- 450 µL nominal capacity: smaller-volume body with a stated 3 mm sample region.
- PTFE lid included: useful as a cover during routine handling.
- Standard 80 construction: adhesive-bonded quartz for routine water-based work.
Using this cell
Fill from the top and make sure the liquid covers the illuminated sample region used by your method. Use the same orientation for blank and sample, and keep bubbles, droplets and dried residue away from the optical faces before measurement.
The PTFE lid can be placed on the cell after filling, but this remains an open-top design. It should be treated as a practical cover for routine handling, not as a pressure-rated or leak-tight closure. The stated 450 µL figure is the nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume.
First-use check
- Inspect the cuvette and lid for chips, scratches or visible residue.
- Rinse with a method-compatible liquid before first measurement.
- Run a blank in the same orientation and seating position you will use for the sample.
- Confirm that the filled liquid level covers the beam path without bubbles.
Fit and optical alignment
The uncapped body measures 12.5 × 12.5 × 25 mm. Check your holder opening, support height and vertical clearance against that body size, especially if your instrument or accessory expects a specific beam-center position.
The stated 3 mm dimension describes the sample-region width. Match that region to your actual beam footprint so the beam passes through the intended liquid section. Z Height is not specified for this SKU, so instrument fit should not be assumed from the outer body height alone.
Solvents and cleaning
This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded construction. It is intended for routine water-based samples and buffers at room temperature. Avoid organic samples and organic cleaning solvents with this construction.
The supplier labels this ordinary version for neutral solutions, so if your sample or cleaning liquid falls outside that range, please check suitability before ordering. Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials, and clean the optical faces gently with a soft non-abrasive wipe.
Included with this option
Supplied as 1 micro cuvette. A PTFE lid is included.
