C102CS7 is a compact JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis work that keeps a full 10 mm optical path in a shorter body format. Its 450 µL nominal capacity and open-top design suit direct filling, while the 12.5 × 12.5 × 25 mm uncapped body helps when you want a lower-profile cell than a full-height cuvette.

Using this cell

Fill from the open top and keep the optical faces free from droplets, bubbles and dried residue in the light path. Use the same orientation for blank and sample, and establish a fill level that fully covers the beam in your setup. The nominal 450 µL capacity is the stated cell capacity, not a minimum working volume.

The PTFE lids can be placed on the filled cells for routine covered handling. This listing does not establish a pressure rating or a leak-tight closed-circuit use condition, so any method that depends on inversion, transport while filled or other sealed handling should be checked against your actual procedure.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes and lids under good light for dust, chips or handling marks.
Rinse with a compatible liquid for your method before first measurement.
Run a blank in the same orientation you will use for samples.

Solvents and cleaning

This cuvette uses Standard 80 adhesive-bonded quartz construction. It is generally suited to routine room-temperature water-based samples and buffers. Avoid organic sample solvents and organic cleaning agents with this construction.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning, and wipe the exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
