Using this cell

Fill the cell so the liquid fully covers the beam area used by your instrument, then fit the supplied closure if your method calls for the sample to remain covered during handling or measurement. Keep the optical faces clean and free of bubbles, droplets and residue, and handle the cell by the non-optical surfaces where possible.

The stated 3.5 mL value is a nominal cell capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method uses low fill levels, confirm that the filled sample height fully covers the beam in your own instrument.

First-use check

Inspect both cuvettes before first use, especially the optical faces and top opening. Test one cell in your holder, rinse with a solvent suitable for your method, and run a blank to confirm that your normal fill level covers the measurement area.
