Using this cell

Fill from the open top and make sure the sample fully covers the beam area used by your instrument. Remove bubbles before measurement, and keep the same orientation for blank and sample if your method depends on consistent positioning.

The PTFE closure is included for this option, but this remains an open-top cuvette rather than a sealed or pressure-rated assembly. The 350 µL figure is the nominal capacity, not a stated minimum working volume.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces for dust, residue or scratches.
Test fit the uncapped body in your holder before preparing samples.
Run a blank at your measurement wavelength with the same orientation you will use for the sample.
Confirm that the filled sample covers the active beam area without visible bubbles.

Fit and optical alignment

The recorded external dimensions apply to the uncapped cell body: 12.5 × 3.5 × 45 mm. Use those body dimensions to check holder clearance and seating in your instrument or fixture.

Solvents and cleaning

Use cleaning and sample-contact conditions that are suitable for the complete cell assembly. The supplier wording describes fused integrated construction, but a controlled MQ fabrication grade is not established for this SKU, so chemical suitability should be checked from your actual sample liquid and cleaning routine rather than assumed from a grade label.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning methods. Wipe exterior optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue. If your method involves aggressive chemicals or extended contact time, please check suitability before use.
