Using this cell

Fill through the neck and make sure the illuminated region is fully covered before measurement. Seat the stopper after filling, then keep the cell orientation consistent between blank and sample readings.

The 280 µL figure is a nominal capacity, not a minimum working volume. If your method runs close to the lowest practical fill level, check the actual illuminated region in your holder before routine use. Remove visible bubbles, droplets and residue from the optical area before each reading.

First-use check

Inspect the quartz body and stopper for chips, residue or visible contamination.
Place the cell in the holder and verify that the beam passes through the intended optical path.
Run a blank in the same position and orientation planned for sample measurements.

Fit and optical alignment

The disc body is 22 mm in outer diameter with 3.5 mm body thickness, and the uncapped neck-inclusive span is 33 mm. The assembled height with stopper is 37 mm. Use these dimensions to check holder clearance and access around the neck.

Do not use hydrofluoric acid with quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials, and wipe the optical surfaces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue.
