Using this cell

Fill the cuvette through the threaded opening so the liquid fully covers the beam region during measurement. If your procedure uses capped handling, fit the closure before moving the cell to the instrument.

Keep the optical faces clean and use the same orientation for blank and sample when your method depends on consistent positioning. The 700 µL value is the nominal cuvette capacity, not a minimum working volume.
