(C022TS4) Quartz Micro Cuvette, 2 mm Path, 700 µL, Pack of 2
Description
C022TS4 is a JGS1 quartz micro cuvette for UV/Vis methods that use a 2 mm optical path and a compact nominal sample volume. Its Two-Way Light layout gives a standard straight-through measurement direction through two opposing optical faces, and the covered top format supports routine handling in a small cell. This MQ offer is supplied as a pack of 2 cuvettes with closures included.

Choose this option
Choose this option when your method is already built around a 2 mm path and you want the convenience of two identical covered micro cuvettes in the same listed specification. The pack-of-2 sale unit can be useful for blank-and-sample work, duplicate preparation, or keeping a spare cell on hand without changing the selected geometry.
What makes this option different
- 2 mm optical path for short-path UV/Vis measurement methods.
- Two-Way Light configuration for transmission through two opposing optical faces.
- 700 µL nominal capacity in a compact micro cuvette body.
- MQ sale unit is a pack of 2 cuvettes, with closures included.
Using this cell
Fill from the top opening and close the cell during normal handling and measurement as appropriate for your procedure. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample runs, and keep the outer optical faces free from droplets, fingerprints and dried residue.
The 700 µL figure is the nominal capacity of each cuvette, not a guaranteed minimum working fill. If you use low sample volumes, check liquid coverage in the actual beam position rather than relying on nominal capacity alone.
First-use check
Inspect both cuvettes and their closures before first use. Rinse with a method-compatible liquid, run a blank in the same orientation planned for measurement, and confirm that the filled sample region covers the beam path without trapped bubbles.
Fit and optical alignment
This is a covered micro cuvette, so holder fit depends on both the cell body and the upper clearance around the closure area. If your instrument uses a narrow adapter, clamp or tight compartment opening, make sure the covered format can seat and remove cleanly.
Z Height is not stated for this SKU, and external dimensions are not listed here as customer specifications. If your setup depends on a fixed beam-center height or close body tolerances, confirm those points before ordering.
Solvents and cleaning
Quartz is widely used for UV/Vis work, but the exact chemical limits for this assembled covered configuration are not specified here. Select sample and cleaning conditions for the complete cell assembly, and review compatibility first if your process involves aggressive solvents, elevated temperature or long contact time.
Do not use hydrofluoric acid on quartz. Avoid hot strong alkalis and abrasive cleaning materials. Wipe the optical faces gently with non-abrasive optical tissue. For general construction guidance, see this fabrication overview.
Included with this option
Supplied as 2 micro cuvettes for the listed MQ sale unit. Closures are included. Additional accessory details are not listed for this option.
Availability and ordering
Order this specification directly, or contact us to check current availability and dispatch timing. If temporarily unavailable, additional preparation or production time may be needed. For a required delivery date, contact us before checkout; preparation or production is separate from carrier transit and customs clearance.
Discuss a custom version
If you need a different path length, sample volume, closure style or holder fit, we can review a custom JGS1 quartz version. Please send a drawing or labelled sketch, plus the critical dimensions, instrument details, sample conditions and required quantity, through this contact page and refer to C022TS4.
