Using this cell

Fill the chamber from above and make sure the liquid fully covers the beam path used by your instrument. The wide opening makes it easier to add sample, check the liquid condition and look for bubbles before measurement.

After filling, place the closure for covered handling or measurement preparation. Keep the same orientation for blank and sample readings, and hold the cell by non-optical surfaces where possible.

First-use check

Inspect the optical faces, top edges and chamber opening for chips, residue or handling marks.
Rinse with a cleaning liquid suitable for your method before first use.
Place the body in your holder and check top clearance with the closure arrangement you intend to use.
Run a blank first to confirm beam placement through the intended optical faces and filled sample region.
