Using this cell

Fill the cell from the open top and make sure the sample covers the beam area used by your instrument. Remove visible bubbles before measurement, and keep the same orientation for blank and sample if your method depends on consistent positioning.

The 1.75 mL figure is the nominal capacity of the cell. It should not be treated as a minimum working volume, so partial-fill methods and fixed-beam setups should be checked against the actual liquid level in use.

Inspect the optical faces for dust, marks or shipping residue.

Run your normal blank or reference measurement before testing the sample.

Fit and optical alignment
