Quartz Flow Cell with Removable PTFE Fittings: Planning Connection Maintenance
Custom Design Guides · MQQFC098
MQQFC098 is the nominal 10 mm path quartz-cell reference with two detachable PTFE connection fittings and four clear viewing directions. Its distinctive feature is the connector interface.
Detachable fittings do not mean that the quartz measuring body can be taken apart. The service task is to access the connections while supporting the body and keeping its windows clear.

In this guide: Configuration · Design comparison · Separate connector maintenance from cell disassembly · Leave space to service the fittings · Match the fitting as a complete interface · Keep all required viewing directions accessible · Enquiry
The configuration discussed here
What changes from the simpler form?
Detachable fittings make the connection components a separate service interface. That distinction preserves the optical-body discussion while allowing connector replacement to be reviewed without assuming the chamber opens.
Separate connector maintenance from cell disassembly
Identify which components are removable and list the parts that need replacement or inspection. Keep the quartz body distinct from the connector bodies, tubes and any separate sealing elements.
A proposed maintenance requirement should state the part to change and the access available. It should not assume that the sample chamber opens when a fitting is removed.
Leave space to service the fittings
Show the line approach, the movement needed to remove each connector and the fixture contacts that remain in place. A cell can fit an optical holder while leaving too little room for connector replacement.
Include how the body and connected lines are supported. The review needs a defined mechanical arrangement rather than an unverified torque instruction.
Match the fitting as a complete interface
Provide the mating thread, seat, tube dimensions and any sealing parts. PTFE identifies the listed fitting material, not a complete compatibility or leakage result.
If a different tube is proposed, consider whether only the fitting needs review while retaining the optical body. That choice can be assessed only with the actual mating details.
Keep all required viewing directions accessible
Mark the windows the method uses and the regions the holder may contact. Four clear directions describe the reference; optical acceptance needs to identify the actual faces and requirements.
MQ can review the connection set, support and relevant fit or fluid checks. The agreed supplied-parts list should make spare connectors and complete cell assemblies easy to distinguish.

Can the quartz chamber be dismantled because the fittings are removable?
That is not established. The reference's detachable features are the PTFE connection fittings; the quartz body and any other joints need separate confirmation.
Send a drawing or the mating-part details
Send the connection section and the cell in its holder. MQ can review replaceable fittings without confusing them with a dismantlable measuring chamber.
- Components to remove or replace
- Thread, seat, tube and seal details
- Connector service space and line support
- Active windows and holder contact regions
- Sample conditions and acceptance requirements
Modified designs are reviewed for the project. The drawing, supplied parts, quantity, inspection scope, price and preparation or production time are agreed in the quotation.
Details to settle for the ordered configuration
Body disassembly, sealing components, operating limits and fluid or optical performance require configuration-specific confirmation.
