Two-Level Quartz Sample Cell: Describing the Layers and Cover Separately
Custom Design Guides · MQQFL069
MQQFL069 is the quartz-cell reference with two visible vertical levels and a perforated cover. Its outline invites an assembly discussion rather than a simple single-box capacity description.
The two levels should not be assumed to be two independent chambers. A section drawing needs to identify their boundaries, communication and proposed roles.

The configuration discussed here
What changes from the simpler form?
Two vertical levels and a perforated cover add assembly interfaces to a simple open cell form. The section must explain their roles before the design can be described as separate chambers or paths.
Explain the purpose of each level
Label the upper and lower sections and show where the sample is intended to be. If they serve different tasks, describe those tasks without assuming an unverified internal partition.
Include the direction of observation and the required active region. A taller or stepped outline does not establish two separate optical paths.
Give every cover hole a mating reference
Identify whether each proposed hole is for a particular item, access route or another defined purpose. Give the mating dimensions, tool reach and clearance above the cover.
A perforation alone does not establish a seal, a probe adapter or an included accessory. The delivered set should identify the cover and any separate components.
Review the full height in the installed position
Show the base, cover and inserted components together with the surrounding apparatus. Check the removal route as well as the resting envelope.
For example, changing the upper level might improve access to a method's tool arrangement. MQ would need the lower optical reference and the required support contacts to review that change coherently.
Resolve the section before the capacity
The working amount depends on the actual boundaries and contents of the assembly. Avoid calculating two chamber volumes from the visible steps or assigning a jacket function without a route drawing.
Agree the section, supplied parts and critical dimensions first. Optical, closure or other performance checks can then refer to a defined configuration rather than an interpretation of its outline.

Are the two levels independent sample chambers?
That is not established by the external form. A section drawing must show the boundaries and communication before independent chamber or path claims can be made.
Send a drawing or the mating-part details
Send the intended tool arrangement with an assembly section. MQ can review the two-level body and cover around the actual access task.
- Section with upper and lower roles identified
- Sample region and optical direction
- Cover-hole locations and mating items
- Support, overall installed height and removal route
- Supplied components and acceptance scope
Modified designs are reviewed for the project. The drawing, supplied parts, quantity, inspection scope, price and preparation or production time are agreed in the quotation.
Details to settle for the ordered configuration
Internal boundaries, chamber independence, capacities, hole functions and optical or closure results require confirmation.
