Quartz 10mm flow cuvette, 440 ul, two-way light windows, 12.5 × 12.5 × 35 mm. Standard 80 fabrication, 190-2500 nm, SKU: C102WS3 Z dimension: 15 mm.
Description
The C102WS3 is a quartz flow cuvette with 10 mm path length and two-way light windows (two polished optical faces for standard UV-Vis absorbance geometry), holding 440 ul of sample. The cell measures 12.5 × 12.5 × 35 mm externally with an internal chamber of 10 × 10 × 33 mm. Inlet and outlet ports enable continuous sample flow for real-time monitoring applications. Fabricated using Standard 80 technique with precision-glued quartz construction, delivering >80% transmittance across the 190-2500 nm range. The quartz body is suitable for aqueous (water-based) solutions only. Do not use with organic solvents, strong acids, or strong bases. The Z dimension (beam center height) is 15 mm from the cell bottom — verify compatibility with your instrument’s beam height before ordering.

Applications
Why Two-Way Light Windows?
The two-way configuration provides two optically polished opposing faces for standard transmission-mode spectroscopy (UV-Vis, NIR). The remaining two walls are frosted (ground) to suppress internal reflections and stray light, improving baseline stability and measurement reproducibility. This is the most common geometry for absorbance-based flow analysis — compatible with virtually every single-beam and double-beam spectrophotometer on the market.
Why a Flow Cell?
Flow cells enable continuous, real-time spectroscopic monitoring without manual sample handling. Integrated quartz tube flow cells have inlet/outlet tubes fused directly into the cell body — no adhesive joints, no removable fittings. This monolithic construction eliminates the most common failure point (glue degradation at tube joints) and provides exceptional chemical resistance and thermal stability. Simply connect tubing to the protruding quartz ports.
Why Standard 80 Fabrication?
The Standard 80 fabrication uses precision UV-cured adhesive to bond high-purity quartz panels. This method delivers >80% transmittance across the UV-Vis-NIR spectrum while keeping costs accessible. The adhesive joints are optically transparent and spectrally neutral, making Standard 80 cells an excellent choice for routine measurements in aqueous media where aggressive solvents are not required.
