Browse our quartz stoppered cuvettes for UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy (190–2500 nm). The precision-ground PTFE stopper provides a gas-tight seal — preventing evaporation and contamination, ideal for volatile, oxygen-sensitive, or anaerobic samples. Path lengths: 1, 2, 10, 50, and 100 mm. Volumes: 430 µl – 35 ml. Two-way and four-way light configurations.
Fabrication Grades
Molded 83 — One-piece, no adhesive, >83% transmittance. Resists all common solvents, concentrated acids, and bases (avoid HF).
Sintered 83 — Fused at 600 °C, >83% transmittance. Compatible with strong acids, bases, and most organic solvents (excluding HF and aggressive organics).
Standard 80 — Precision-glued, >80% transmittance. Economical for routine aqueous work.
Also includes specialty products: cylindrical cuvette, closed flow cell, and 100 mm light-shielding cuvette. All manufactured from high-purity JGS1 fused silica, fitting standard 12.5 mm sample compartments. Compatible with Shimadzu, Agilent, PerkinElmer, Thermo Fisher, JASCO, Hitachi, Horiba, and most commercial instruments.
